A Tale of Two Birthday Cards

No Gravatar

Here are two birthday cards I made this month.  The first card was inspired by a card my friend Terry Bolender designed.  I didn’t have time to make the card at her free make ‘n take so I made it myself later, with my own paper.  My friend Stephanie is fashionable, hip, fun and just turned 25 so here is the fashionista birthday card I made.  Sometimes it’s nice to make a card with no stamps.  I used rub-ons for the sentiment:

This next card was for Alicia and it was the first time using paper from the Close to My Heart goodie box.  I also used a new Fiskars punch for threading ribbon.  I blended CTMH paper and ribbon with a Stampin’ Up! button and SU! birthday sentiment because I love the products both companies offer.

Thanks for reading my blog and if it’s your birthday, then by all means have a happy birthday! 🙂
